Boy, 10, Diagnosed of Cancer

A 10-year old boy of school-going age has been diagnosed of cancer in the blood.  His parents are appealing to President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, humanitarian organizations and the public for help.

The boy, Dennis Manley, currently on admission at the John F. Kennedy Hospital in Monrovia, was diagnosed of the disease in the blood by doctors at the Center recently.

“Dennis is diagnosed  of cancer by doctors at the JFK Medical Center, who advised that he should be taken abroad to save his life, but I do not have the hand,” John Manley,  an employee of the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) in Monrovia told the media at the JFK.

He advanced further, “I am appealing to the President, VP Boakai, other officials of government, humanitarian organizations and the public in general to help save my son’s life because I am unable to foot the cost of treatment”, writes TKS.
