A 54-year-oldman has drowned in Yoopidi, a village in Harper District, Maryland County. Police investigation revealed that Doe-Mle Sieh Dennis left his home at 5pm Saturday, August 4th  to lay basket-trap in a nearby creek, but never returned.

Basket traps are traditional tools used to catch fish, crabs and other aquatic creatures for meal. Following a thorough search carried out by villages along with the Liberia National Police, Dennis’ dead body was discovered lying in the Teechunue Creek.
