Mobile money climaxes inter high school tournament

Lonestar Cell MTN on Sunday, 4 May ended its Mobile Money Inter High School football and kickball tournament in Gardnerville outside Monrovia. The first Mobile Money football and kickball tournament was held in West Point Township and the Borough of New Kru Town years ago.

Gov’t hosts confab, trade fair

Following what appears to be a highly successful vision for micro, small and medium enterprise development, the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has begun a two-day National Conference and Trade Fair in Monrovia, bringing together various stakeholders, including small and medium size businesses, the Government of Japan, USAID, the International Trade Center (ITC), and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), among others.

Cellcom’s Chief Corporate Communications Strategist Dr. Kimmie Weeks has revealed that Cellcom will launch a major empowerment program for Liberia today. The launch will take place at a “by invitation only” cocktail reception scheduled to take place at the Monrovia City Hall tonight.
