Mulbah, who claimed to have bruises  on his body and is waiting an x-ray result from the hospital’s doctors, stated that Smith was always in the habit of refusing to underwrite the cost of Radio Talks Shows whenever he is hosted.

According to him, when asked by the Station’s Management on Thursday to do a writing commitment for settlement following his request for appearance on Radio Gbehzohn, Representative Smith became furious.

“But he refused on grounds that he is a Representative; therefore, he won’t pay for the show. He then forced himself to hold the show,” Mulbah stated.

“Thereafter,”  he continued, “When I was about to leave, he ordered his bodyguards to pull me from my car and starting to beat me up.”

The Journalist, who eyes are reported to have been brutally tempered with by Smith’s bodyguards’, said he was encountering severe body pain, identifying one of the bodyguards involved in the brutal attack on him as only Cyrus.

Representative Smith’s phone was at a perpetual switch-off up to press time, following several attempts to ring him up. Attacks on journalists by public officials are on the increase nowadays in Liberia.
