Party Leader Crosses Carpet
Bong County Senator Henry Yallah has described himself as a Lawmaker of the People Unification Party or PUP.
Senator Yallah- elected in 2011 as Senator on the ticket of the National Democratic Coalition or NDC while Chairman of the New Deal Movement, said he ‘stood tall with the PUP’, making it clear that he had resigned from the New Deal Movement because the party mentality had no ground in contemporary Liberian politics.
The Bong County Senator told our Bong County correspondent that his old party mentality needed to go through metamorphosis to enable it fit in contemporary Liberian politics.
He indicated that the PUP was the only party capable of bringing genuine transformation to Liberians in 2017.
The Bong County, adding that as the party continues to hunt for an indigenous to lead it to 2017, every member now had the burden to look around. By Papa Morris from Bong County - Edited by George Barpeen
