Law Reform Commission Chair and Lecturer at the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law Cllr Jallah Babu has admonished law school graduates to take the challenge and rigorously prepare to become better lawyers in the Liberian society.

He spoke at the Cape Hotel in Mamba Point where the graduates held a class night on Friday, December 1, 2012, as part of the commencement exercises of the University of Liberia.

Cllr. Babu said the legal profession remains an enviable one and called on members of the graduating class to remain firm when they take stand for fairness and justice as this will earn them their place of respect in society.

Also speaking, Amb. Conmany Wesseh, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs urged the graduates to strive to make their mark and set their footprint in society with the perseverance required in the preparatory process at the law school.

He expressed appreciation with the number of qualified young professional graduates leaving the walls of the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, noting that the future was more assuring for them. Amb. Wesseh was a guest of the graduate class,while his wife Medina Wesseh is a member of the graduating class.

Earlier Sia Sammy Luseni, Coordinator of the class night event and class president said she wanted to memorialize the event, thus prompting the printing of T-Shirts with all 38 members of the graduating class professionally embossed on the back of the beautiful black and orange T-Shirt and cap to match.

Also speakingto her colleagues the Vice President of LAWSA (Law Students Association of the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law) Ms Yaa Yepleh Dollo Babure called the challenges of the last three years and the struggles she and others started in a class of 103 students to complete her course of professional studies in three years.

The Louis Arthur grimes school of law is graduating 38 professional students, nine of whom are females.
