Lonestarcell-MTN wins invest in People award

Liberia's leading GSM company Lonestarcell MTN has been given one of the world's highest corporate award by the London based group Investors in People.

Lonestarcell MTN, Liberia's first GSM company was awarded the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating its commitment in realizing the potential of its staff. 

Located in Congo Town, Monrovia, the Premier Mobile Phone Company has a workforce of over 250 employees nationwide and provides telecommunication services. 

Investors in People are the UK's leading accreditation Firm for business improvement through people’s management. 

In his Congratulating Message, Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People said “Achieving the Investors in People Standard is something that every organization needs to be truly proud of and that Lonestarcell MTN is worthy of the achievement.

Commenting on the award at the ceremony sponsored by the Human Resources Department, Babatunde Osho, Chief Executive Officer of Lonestarcell MTN, expressed his profound delight in raining praises on the entire Lonestarcell MTN’s Family. Mr. Osho further stated that being the First GSM Company in Liberia to achieve this milestone puts the company in the ranks among others.
