The John F. Kennedy Medical Center has disclosed that several specialists from the United States are due in the country shortly to perform free medical and surgical services for Liberians.

According to a press release from the JFK Medical Center, the coming of the doctors is in response to an appeal by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf during her recent visit to the United States. The hospital said that all surgical procedures during the course of their stay will be absolutely free.

“The public is hereby encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity that we are about to give to the Liberia people.  These doctors will be here for about two weeks and will offer free surgical procedures to Liberians, especially males with prostate problems.
