President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has extends warmest congratulation to President Barrack Obama on his reelection as president of the United States of America.

In her Message to President-Elect Obama, President Johnson Sirleaf, on behalf of Liberia, conveyed heartfelt and profound congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of the United States for the success of a historic election process.

The Liberian leader further averred that the re-election of President Obama is undoubtedly an affirmation of the continued confidence the people of the Great United States repose in visionary and distinguished leadership. President Sirleaf expressed her fervent hope that President Obama’s second term will be marked by even greater achievements at home and abroad.

As Liberia looks towards deepening relations between our two countries and peoples, President Sirleaf expressed optimism that the ties of friendship and cooperation so happily subsisting between our two countries and peoples will continue to grow as we forge common fronts for the promotion of international peace, security and development.

Madam Johnson Sirleaf wished for President Obama personal well- being and good health, and pray that the Almighty God continues to grant him wisdom and foresight to successfully lead his great country and people.
