Lonestar Cell MTN Welcomes Musulyn Myers
Lonestar Cell MTN has welcomed home Miss Musulyn Myers, who represented Liberia at this year’s Project Fame musical competition held in Nigeria. Musulyn arrived on Friday October 5, 2012 from Nigeria where she participated in the final stage of the competition.
She was the only non-Nigerian to have reached the finals but unfortunate to secure a place among the finalists. Musulyn described her participation in the competition as a challenge and noted that she was advised by the judges that she is good singer, but needs to sing from heart stomach or belly.
She told this paper that singing from her belly was one of her greatest challenges that may have caused her not to win the competition. The Liberian female artist promised to work on her weaknesses to become one of Liberia’s best musicians, disclosing that her next she is to work on an album and video recording.
She commended all Liberians for given her full support through SMS voting during the competition in Nigeria and extended special thanks and appreciation to the Lonestar Cell MTN for the sponsorship.
Meanwhile, Lonestar Cell Corporate Communication Manager Dr. Laurence Bropleh has welcomed Musulyn back home. Speaking to this paper, Dr. Bropleh cautioned Liberians to take charge whenever they see their fellow citizens in international competitions like the just ended Project Fame.
He noted that Lonestar Cell MTN will continue to work with Liberians, who are willing to bring pride to their country. Project Fame country representative Chris Wolo said he was happy to welcome Musulyn home and added that though she never won the competition, she has brought pride to Liberia through her performance in Lagos.
Wolo encouraged young Liberian stars to take courage in themselves and go out to partake in public program to expose their talents.
