Total-Liberia Eyes French Trophy

Total-Liberia, one of the 32 teams participating in the second edition of the French Embassy tournament, has vowed to win the Championship title this year.

Speaking to Journalists at the weekend in Monrovia, Total-Liberia Managing Director said a formidable force has been build to eliminate all of their opponents in the competition. Olivier Lassagne further disclosed that the company has provided all of the basic needs for its players.

“I want all Liberians to note that we are in this competition to win and nothing less, so as Total-Liberia is closed to the people of Liberia, I would appreciate were all in this country would join us to celebrate the French Embassy Trophy when we shall have won it,” Lassagne expressed.

Total-Liberia is expected to battle the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Liberia (DR Congo FC) next weekend at the road-side Airfield fish market Sports pitch in Sinkor. The second edition of the French Embassy Trophy kicked off on October 2, and  is expected to run through 31 December 2010.

Meanwhile, Total-Liberia has disclosed that it is organizing a grand soccer jamboree in Monrovia.  Olivier Lassagne told this paper over the weekend that the tournament will get underway at the end of November 2010.
